Hi and welcome to this week's eight sentences.
I'm continuing with the next eight from 'Dancing for the Boys' enjoy!:
   MY EIGHT

“I think that you are an excellent pole dancer,” James continued seemingly oblivious to Tanya’s wandering stare. “I have a proposition for you if you are interested.”

That caught Tanya’s attention and she raised her eyes to meet his. A deep blue intensity greeted her making her falter all over again.
“What sort of proposition?” she managed.
James glanced across at Tony, so obviously listening though pretending he wasn’t.
“We can’t talk here,” he said, “Would you object to going somewhere more private?”

Out Now! - The New Room by Kay Jaybee (@kay_jaybee)

The New Room is a novella length finale that follows on from the end of the best selling, The Perfect Submissive trilogy, by Kay Jaybee.

Blurb:

Miss Jess Sanders, resident submissive of the Fables Hotels adult entertainment floor, has been instructed to test out the new facility that her manageress, Mrs Peters, has designed for the sexual pleasure of her clients.
With a dungeon, Victorian study, medical bay, school room, and the daunting White Room already available for their guests, Jess can’t begin to imagine what lies behind the innocent looking door to the new room.
Under the supervision of the dominatrix, Miss Sarah, and with the assistance of her colleagues, Lee and Sam, as Jess steps into the new room, she quickly discovers she is about to experience far more than she bargained for...at freezing temperatures.
With the feeling that she’s acting in a play that everyone knows the script to but her, the Fables perfect submissive is challenged to the limit in Mrs Peters new room, and beyond...

Extract-
...With a shove of her bound hands against the small of her back, Jess was bent forward so that her feet remained flat upon the floor. Her belly and chest were laid across the throne’s cushion, while her forehead rested uncomfortably on the wooden seat next to it.
The volume of the music increased, and Jess wondered if that meant it would soon have to drown out a greater level of background noise.
As Jess’ companion ordered her to close her eyes, a further wave of uncertainty added to the submissive’s anxiety. She didn’t recognise the voice. It didn’t belong to either Max or Lee. This was a stranger.
Even with the cloak hanging over her back, Jess’ flesh felt an oddly clammy chill of foreboding mingle with the cold. As her nipples buffed against the cording that ran around the edge of the throne’s satin cushion, the sole thought hammering in Jess’ head was, Who is this man?
The Fables had no new male member of staff that Jess was aware of. Although it was possible someone had been hired and no one had told her. Wishing she’d thought to ask Mrs Peters if she had permission to speak during the training session, but not wanting to risk her superior’s wrath by assuming she could, Jess clamped her jaw against the need to ask the owner of the fingers that were exploring the curve of her backside with growing confidence, who the hell he was.
Her neck was beginning to stiffen against the hard chair seat. Jess was just wishing the pressure of the cushion against her chest wasn’t so arousing when the anonymous palms abruptly stilled. All but for the thumbs – which continued to work in small sweeping circles, the simple move pushing Jess’ sex addicted body to silently plead for the man to flick up her cloak and thrust himself into her from behind. Now!
The sound of the door opening again made Jess’ breath catch in her throat as she lay over the chairs. Who else had joined them? Jess’ unspoken question was quickly answered, as the imperial voice of the Fables’ fifth floor manageress addressed the man, who was now kneading Jess’ butt cheeks as if they were mounds of dough.
‘I trust Miss Sanders has been obedient for you, Mr Grant?’
‘Oh yes, Mrs Peters.’ Mr Grant’s voice was husky and dripped as much with disbelief as it did lust.
‘Has the girl spoken, asked questions, or hesitated in her obedience to your requests in anyway? Even fractionally? ’
‘Not one word. Not so much as a pause. The girl is as well schooled as you told me she was.’ The tone of Mr Grant’s voice told Jess that he hadn’t expected her to be the submissive her boss had evidently boasted her to be.
‘I only employ the best, Mr Grant.’ Even though she couldn’t see her, the satisfaction in Mrs Peters’ voice warmed Jess a little against the cold. ‘I have to say I’m impressed with what you’ve built for us. This is precisely the grotto I had in mind. Would you like the tip for your services now, or would you like to be a spectator for a while and take your reward for a job well done afterwards?’
Mr Grant’s gulp was clearly audible as his hands rested over Jess’ hips. Instinct sent her butt up towards him.
Hoping that Mrs Peters hadn’t noticed the unauthorised move, Jess squeezed her eyes together tighter, willing her companion to take his reward now. She desperately wanted his cock inside her.
‘As much as I’d like to witness what you’ve planned, Mrs Peters, I have business elsewhere.’ Mr Grant’s voice was getting huskier, and Jess could hear how close he was to coming already. She doubted that he genuinely had other business. It was more likely that he simply wasn’t able to wait to experience the pliability of the submissive’s flesh. The edgy urgency in his voice was something Jess had heard from many a male hotel guest over the past eighteen months.
Mrs Peters nodded, ‘Then you may proceed...’

   MY EIGHT

What could he want? Tanya half hoped he would sweep her into his arms and carry her off into the night but when she saw him sitting uncomfortably on one of the bar stools his manner was professional.

“Hello Tanya,” he said standing in her presence, “Please take a seat.” He gestured to the stool beside him and Tony placed a tall glass of lemon and lime on the coaster in front of her.

“It’s lovely to meet you at last,” he started, “Let me introduce myself, my name is James Alexander.” James held out his hand towards Tanya and she shook it briefly.

“I expect you’re wondering why I asked to see you?” he continued.

Tanya noticed a gap in James’ immaculate pale blue shirt. A small clear button had come undone exposing the tiniest glimpse of his toned stomach covered with a smattering of coarse dark hairs.

A Little bit of chat

Interview with Gemma Parkes
When did you first start writing?
I have written all my life one way or another. It started as small poems or short stories as a child and developed into a hobby that I had little control over! I first started writing to sell around 2010.

What's the story behind your latest book?
Fevered kisses started life as a series of short stories hidden away in a folder marked antho’ subs. These were stories that I had written at various times throughout the past year hoping that a submission call would come up that would be suited to one or more of them. You know how it is, a story pops into your head and you just have to roll with it. At the end you think ‘What am I going to do with that now?’ Over time they have been growing in size and gathering dust in the dubious folder which forms part of my WIP section. There are a mixture of stories included in the anthology written with a variety of themes and first and third narrative. Sometimes I write in first person because it’s easier to express my emotions that way, these stories can be exceptionally sensuous, written straight from the heart and encouraging the reader to share in the experience with me.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I'm not exclusively an indie author as I do have work published with various publishers all of whom I would heartily recommend. I do enjoy being free to choose the time and subject of my writing though and I enjoy the process of self-publishing from start to finish. There are benefits in both and I wouldn't choose one over the other.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has given a platform and 'shopfront' for my self-published work. It's easy to keep track of sales and change things like book covers if they are proving unpopular.
What are you working on next?
I have several anthologies that I would like to submit to, whether or not I make the deadlines remains to be seen! I also have a few stories to complete that are sitting in my wip folder. It may be a long summer!
Who are your favorite authors?
Charles Dickens, Anais Nin, Philippa Gregory and D.H. Lawrence (what a mixture!)
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Usually through recommendations on sites such as 'Goodreads'.
How do you approach cover design?
Choosing covers is extremely difficult and I often wish that I could paint one for myself. I like stylish covers but realise that covers (especially as thumbnails) need to stand out. I also think that this genre demands a certain type of cover, designed to reflect the content.
What do you read for pleasure?
Classics, biographies and Anais Nin!
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?

Blog sharing, obviously these wouldn't be possible without the might of Facebook and Twitter, but blogs give you the freedom to sell your wares through examples, excerpts and special features.

   MY EIGHT

Tanya blushed as she became acutely aware of the towel wrapped around her and the damp curls framing her make up free face.
“I didn’t realise you would be…getting changed.” he purred scanning her swiftly up and down. “I am sorry; would you meet me in the small bar when you are ready?”
Tanya had an urge to pull him inside, she wanted him to push past her and lock the door. Silently, she nodded meekly and watched as he walked away. She reapplied make up and brushed her hair as quickly as she could. Then she donned the simple dress she had arrived in and headed nervously down to the small bar.

Was he even there at the beginning of her routine? Tanya pulled away the damp costume and showered, washing away her exaggerated make up and the hair spray clinging to her curls. When she stood, wrapped warmly in a large bath sheet, there was a knock on the door. With a disgruntled sigh she opened it. He stood before her in his perfectly pressed charcoal suit wearing a shirt of the palest blue, his dark hair smooth and his blue eyes piercing.

“I am sorry to disturb you.” he said, just a faint hint of accent on his baritone voice.
Nobody was allowed down the corridor, the girls had security in place. How had he managed to approach her?

Being Anna - New release from Anna Sky

 I am pleased to introduce...

Not just dungeons and brooding billionaires...

When Anna met Stephen, she didn't realise quite how her life was going to change. She'd vowed that after a failed marriage she was going to find a man who could fulfil all her needs; out of the bedroom and inside it. One night, after taking a deep breath and wishing she'd had a stiff drink, she told Stephen what she wanted. They never looked back...

This is the diary of the first couple of months of exploring a D/s relationship in the bedroom, from Stephen's hesitancy at what he was doing to Anna's issues at letting go of control. It wasn't without its other problems too; Anna has chronic fatigue syndrome and the couple needed to find ways of expressing their roles without it damaging her health.

This is a real life story of dominance and submission from a now-married couple in their thirties; if you're curious about BDSM and kink, buy now!

Warning: This book contains strong language and sexual content.

   MY EIGHT

Tanya had them captivated, she twisted, she turned and she spread her long legs wide then twisted them back into herself with her arms taking her weight. The neon outfit glowed in the dim lighting leaving little to the imagination. Tanya was on fire, timing her twists to the beat of the music and holding every carefully placed position long enough to whet the appetite of every male in the club. She spun around the pole holding on by one hand in a move few attempted then snaked to the floor to rapturous applause. With her final bow Tanya looked to the right, but her admirer wasn’t there.
With the shouts for more ringing in her ears Tanya headed for her dressing room. Her body buzzed with excitement but her heart felt bereft. Why hadn’t he stayed to watch her?
